Random Acts of Kidness Day

Chamber members are invited to support a local nonprofit doing important work in our community — The Animal League of Green Valley — through a special silent auction fundraiser. Giving Your Heart to the Animals is a community-focused event where 100% of proceeds benefit the shelter and the animals in their care. The event will feature a variety of silent auction items, gift baskets, and light refreshments in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Event Details: Sunday, February 22, 2026 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM American Legion Post 66 1650 W. Duval Mine Rd., Green Valley Hosted by Dana Barnes Cash or check preferred (checks payable to TALGV) Silent auction items, gift baskets, and monetary donations are also being accepted ahead of the event. One of the many ways our Chamber members give back to the community is through meaningful programs that invest in the next generation — and Trico’s Scholarship Program is a great example. Each year, Trico awards scholarships to students pursuing college, university, vocational school, or other post–high school education paths. In 2025 alone, the Trico Foundation awarded $570,000 in scholarships to 100 students , helping local families offset the cost of continuing education. Applications are now open for the 2026–27 school year , and eligibility extends to Trico members and their children .
